Private Lessons
We believe an essential part of music instruction includes individual attention to each student's personal goals and development.
Lessons place focus on the fundamental aspects of Music and a thorough transmission of instrumental techniques and various musical styles.
Teachers share their comprehensive expertise with Western Music theory, philosophy, and creative learning concepts.
All Gallagher School instructors participate with Music on a professional level. Teachers engage their students with relevant perspectives from a considerable depth of experience within the music business.
Music lessons schedule weekly or bi-weekly, 40 or 60 minutes in duration.

We currently offer a one-time 30-minute trial lesson for those thinking about committing to a full twelve-week lesson period.
Musicians looking for a single lesson experience can schedule a 90-minute "One-Off" with the Gallagher School. A "One-Off" facilitates a lesson design by the student to focus on a very specific musical goal, including their choice of instructor.
Private music lessons take place at our Chicago studios, teacher studios, or in a student's home. Students can arrange in-home lessons relative to teacher availability within any one Chicago neighborhood.
