About Us
Gallagher School of Guitar & Drums is a music teacher network offering private lessons for individuals who play guitar and percussion. Our students develop their skills through one-on-one sessions with teachers who encourage creative participation with Music.
Private instruction accelerates the process of learning and understanding music. As professionals, we provide students with the necessary knowledge and methods for expanding their musical capabilities and resourcefulness.
Gallagher School helps musicians engage:
- fundamental principles of Western Music Theory
- rudimentary techniques for guitar, drums, and other percussion instruments
- practical concepts for participation with various styles, song forms, arranging, and composition
- tools for enhancing music literacy, performance and improvisation
The Gallaghers are members of Chicago rock ensemble Oucho Sparks. Jamie also plays drums and percussion for Andreas Kapsalis Trio.
We represent a network of dedicated teachers around Chicago, and continue to provide resources for developing musicians.
